Mr. Coffee Is No More!

Mr. Coffee broke yesterday, and he wont come back to life! I had just asked him to make Coffee the day before and it worked wonderfully. We did an autopsy on him and we still couldn't find out what happened to Mr. Coffee. Matt, (my brother), said that he would pick up a new Mr. Coffee maker today after work. I can say that our old Mr. Coffee maker has served us well, we've pretty much had him make Coffee everyday since we've gotten him about 1-2 years ago. He's made delicious Coffee, kept it nice and warm, and always ready to reheat the Coffee for us; without complaint I might add. So this is for you Mr. Coffee! You've been a great help to my Family and I when we always needed a "Pick-me-up" or when we just wanted to sit back and enjoy the smell, taste, colour, and effects of Coffee. May you have safe passage to the after life!

Summer/Fall Movies

Picture from: Tim Burtons' Alice in Wonderland

I took this idea for a movie list from blogger "The Messy Den" These are movie's I would like to see this Summer/Fall; that is if I money wasn't a problem like it's being at the moment, sadly I'm broke. :( Anyway, I hope you enjoy my list. Try making one of your own and let's see if any of them match. I've made the name's links to the actual trailers enjoy! Oh! Also, I found this group from reading Denis' blog. I went to the bands site and got their CD.
The Temper Trap The are a really good Indie/Alternative Rock band from Australia.

Julia Nunes

Julia will be in Tennessee this month, which just so happens to be where I live. I really would love to go see her and will try my best to make it to one of her shows. I found her sometime last year on youtube.com and have really enjoyed her music. My parents even got into it, and every time there's a new video that she's put on youtube they want to see it. I watched her for a few months while really wanting to get a Ukulele. Julia and some other peeps on youtube inspired a ton of peeps to pick up the Uke, so much that it was hard to find a good quality Uke anywhere. Of course, my Father and I bought one, the same one that she uses. I'm not all that good on it but have been enjoying it! Check out her channel if you haven't seen any of her videos or haven't heard of her.

In Town

I spent most of the morning in town looking for jobs, while turning in an application. There are only two places in town that have openings. I'm surprised that the florist shops don't need any help since Mother's Day is next weekend most florists higher in extra help; that day is the biggest holiday for florists. I found a Ballroom dancing studio on the square in town; I didn't know it was there, last I knew it wasn't. I hope to get a job and maybe start taking dancing lessons. I made my finally stop at the library after running all over the town. I was surprised to find that they have been buying some of the newer teen fiction; I'm glad that they are keeping it more up-to-date. I return home somewhat disappointed that there weren't more employers looking for applications, but I am glad that there's at lest two places in town looking for applications. I decided to listen to my stomach and fill it with some very good ramen; I then open one of the books I got from the library and start reading away. Over all it's been a good day, I talked to my fiancee, texted with an old friend and I still have kung-fu to look forward to.

Update for most of the month.

The Past Two Weeks:
My brother Matt and I went to the camp in Arkansas; we got to see some really good friends, and meet some new peeps. I got to see my Fiancee, while Matt got to see a girl that he had interest in. They both hooked up over the week there at the camp. Matt's girlfriend's name is Jessica; she's a twin, her sister is Audrey, who also hooked up with a guy named Ivan. Jessica and Audrey's home life is very complicated, but in the end Jessica wound up coming to live with us, while her twin sister went with another family. I have always wanted a sister so I pretty much have one now :) On Wednesday I went home with Nick and stayed at one of his friends house. While I was there Nick had me look for apartments while he was at work. We also looked at a house that was for rent, he's known the owners for years. We wound up getting the house, it's a quant little house. Mom and Dad said when seeing the pictures of the house, that it's a much better place than their first apartment. Nick drove me home after a week and stayed for a two nights; it was a good two weeks. Jessica, Matt, my other Brother Josh, and I went shopping the other day, Jessica needed some more clothes than the clothing she just took to camp. It's nice that Jessica and I are the same size, she's just has longer legs than me. Jessica is also really good at drawing so we got her a sketchbook, gel pens, and a book about drawing, which Matt also wanted. I got a the book "Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr"
I'm still reading the second book, so I'm trying to hurry through it to start the third :) So far I have been really enjoying those books. Matt's been testing/helping Jessica with her hand eye coordination on video games, she's not doing to bad for not really ever playing any; right now they are playing Halo 3.

My best friend Michelle (I call her my twin) She's getting Married in two weeks. I am part of the Wedding, one of her Bridesmaids. I got my Bridesmaid dress and it's beautiful, I can't wait till the Wedding! Her Wedding will be in North Carolina, somewhere out in the middle of know where... lols.

That's pretty much what's been going on in my life, and what will soon happen, hopefully I'll update sooner.

Pile of Books

I have a pile of books on my desk, just sitting there awaiting to be read; most I've gotten about half way through, maybe a little more. Once I get those books read, that are on my desk, I have another pile elsewhere that are the same, awaiting to be read. Most of my time isn't spend well, I sit mainly on my imac surfing the web and playing MMORPG's. I really should be working more on learning an instrument or reading. I have a trip that's coming up, which I'm really looking forward to; the place I'm going you ask? Well, it's a camp West of where I live. I hope my Brother and I will have a great time. There's a little river that runs by the camp, I've been told that it's usually just warm enough to get out there and do everything, but get in the water. I also hope that it's warm enough to at lest do that :)

Fun at Dollywood

Well, the last weekend of May my family and I, with some friends from Alaska, went to Dollywood in Pigeon Forge Tennessee.
We had to pay extra to get something very much like the Disney's FastPass, but all 7 of us kids split the cost so it was only about 5 bucks each. I'm glad that we got it cause it made all the main rides easier to get to. We waited about 2-5 mins instead of 15 or more mins inline. We all had a ball, I got to see my twin Michelle again, which I hadn't seen in about a year or so. I also got to meet her Fiancee Nathan, which I now can approve of. :P My family and I left Saturday morning, and had to stop by the Uptons to pick up some grain that we had ordered, then went up to Pigeon Forge to a camp ground. We set up camp, and waited for Michelle and her Mother Debbie to arrive. They camped out with us that night. It started to rain in the morning, but when it finally slowed down we packed up camp, ate, and got ready to go to the theme park. We met up with Nathan and Michelles' brother and sister at mall before we got to the park along with some other friends of ours, Ceri and Joe. (Joe is my Dad's boss) All 12 of us crammed into 2 cars and drove over to the park. It was alot of fun and I can't wait to do something like that again with them or with other friends!
